A crowd of media personalities and communications professionals gathered at the Sixth Floor Museum on October 13 to honor distinguished Dallas journalists during the annual Press Club of Dallas North Texas Legends Award ceremony.

Emceed by long-time WFAA-TV anchor Gloria Campos and sponsored in part by Pierpont, this year’s award ceremony showcased the following honorees:

There were many laughs and a few tears, especially for the posthumous awardees. One of the new legends quoted a former newsroom boss with saying, “There are no bad stories…just bad storytellers.” We couldn’t agree more.
