Pierpont Communications Names Michelle Metzger New Vice President and General Manager

Houston, TX (September 14, 2009) --- Pierpont Communications, Houston’s largest public relations firm, announced today that Michelle Metzger has been named as Vice President and General Manager of its Dallas office.
Metzger brings more than 12 years of experience in marketing and public relations to Pierpont’s management team, where she will be responsible for overseeing the business development initiatives for the Dallas market. Her deep technology background spans key niche industries including security, wireless and telecommunications. Metzger is also experienced in financial services, foodservice, staffing solutions, exhibition services and nonprofit organizations.
Prior to joining Pierpont, Metzger was a Senior Account Director with Waggener Edstrom Worldwide. In this role, she led the media team for BMC Software while also driving the media relations program for Demand Solutions. In addition, Metzger was previously in charge of leading the global public relations efforts for Entrust, Inc. where she was responsible for shaping the company’s corporate message during her tenure.
